Head of Leadership and Engagement Development in Retail [Denmark]

Job Purpose:
Our Retail business “Enable more people hear better” and we want to improve the quality of life – not just for our customers but also for their relatives. This role supports our Retail business by ensuring our leaders are supported in developing a leadership style that shows support to our employees in the same way as we want our employees to care for our customers. Therefore, the purpose of this role is to gather, align and develop best practices enabling our country organizations to develop leadership and engagement in an effective and efficient way - leveraging global scale - in accordance with our Demant Values, the Leadership -, and the DE&I goals.

You will:
Develop and facilitate global initiatives to improve the engagement across markets based on Engagement, DE&I and Performance Development data.
Co-create - with the global Demant HR team - the Demant leadership framework and trainings to be applied across the entire Demant organisation and you will promote the leadership development for senior leadership team members across countries by running online trainings, conducting 360-degree survey, providing feedback and coaching – all activities aiming at enabling leaders to support our employee’s engagement and performance.
Develop a train the Trainer setup that ensures our Retail leaders – beyond senior leadership teams - are developed in a consistent way - across geographies and in all languages - according to our values and ideas on leadership and DE&I.
Continuously support the development of our local leadership trainers and ensure they have the competence and tools available to deliver Demant trainings.
Support/ensure best practices are applied on learning design/experience on trainings in general (application of taxonomy and modern learning).
About you:
You have a genuine interest in keeping up to date with leadership traits and market trends as well as gathering feedback from stakeholders in the business to ensure the engagement and leadership activities create value within the Retail division - building engagement and improve retention.
You have a previous experience with driving or maybe even building a training network in an international organisation and previous training/coaching experience.
You have successfully delivered trainings and can communicate efficiently in English and possibly one or two additional languages (ex. German, French, Spanish). The role is international and requires frequent travel. Danish is not a requirement.

You preferably have experience in some of the below:
  • Designing and driving new strategies: Conceiving new strategies to create results and align a team or organization to implement them.
  • Ensure a collaboration culture: Enable team performance by improving teamwork, collaboration, and support among team members.
  • Support geographically dispersed teams: Lead team members that are dispersed across multiple locations to function together as a team.
