THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We are looking for a Sourcing Manager Facility Management to support the operation of our European logistics, retail and office buildings by delivering sourcing strategies and cost control for main facility management services (e.g. security guarding, maintenance, waste disposal) and certain building equipment (e.g. cameras, access control, waste compactors). Your goal will be to develop and leverage partnerships with key European, national and regional FM and FM technology suppliers to implement our functional strategies on budget, in time and in an innovative and sustainable way.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You will be part of the team responsible for managing the commodity of Facility Management (hard and soft services, FM technology)
- You will develop, establish and maintain cost-effective, service-oriented as well as quality-focused strategic supplier relationships and be a key account for one or several of our strategic suppliers
- You will partner with the central and local functional FM and Security departments to fulfill the procurement needs of the internal customers in logistics, retail and office operations as well as guide them strategically based on market trends
- You will continually benchmark your suppliers to monitor cost and service trends and ensure best practices are incorporated into Zalando's project pipeline
- You will establish FM supplier selection criteria, evaluate alternative suppliers, manage the RFQ process, and drive final supplier selection in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- You will negotiate FM service agreements and framework contracts with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, capacity and service terms.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant purchasing experience (sourcing, FM, operations, security & maintenance) in fast-paced organizations with exposure to innovative and new approaches to procurement.
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, sourcing, supply chain management, finance or comparable qualification.
- Experience with the facility management and building technology maintenance of large fulfillment centres of e-tailers
- You are analytical and have a problem-solving attitude with a proven ability to achieve cost savings and overall efficiency on focused categories of spend
- With a lense to sustainability, you'll bring strong knowledge of the FM and Utilities industry and marketplace to support strategy creation and research.
