JOB FUNCTION:
· The reception desk is the focal point of the Club. As the first point of contact for all members and the start of all their enquiries receptionists need to be totally professional, extremely knowledgeable, have great initiative and keep up to date with all that is happening in the Club
· Provide a high level of professional customer service that will ensure that the membership feel special and welcome on every visit. Receptionists report directly to the Assistant Club Manager taking pleasure in delivering excellent customer service to both the membership and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Be an excellent communicator, professional, approachable and friendly as reception is the focal point for communication for all Club departments
· Be committed to providing outstanding customer care and member focus and have good initiative
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be motivated, flexible and loyal
· Be responsible and keep up to date all reception systems and administration requirements
· Be a team player and generate a team spirit that encourages the team to work together and achieve their goals.
· Show a professional, efficient attitude when listening to and dealing with member requests, queries and complaints
· Communicate with the Assistant Club Manager concerning operational deficiencies and areas in need of attention
· Have a calm, warm, friendly and positive demeanor that will ensure that our members feel special and welcome on every visit.
· Be committed to providing outstanding customer care and member focus and have the ability to engage and empathize with members
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be motivated, flexible and loyal
· Flexibility is very important as receptionists will be required to work shifts across seven days of the week,
· Carry out general reception duties i.e., answering the telephone and deal with enquiries, court/ studio/ academy/ events bookings, pass on all Membership enquiries to Membership Sales
· Ensure that the appropriate cashing up procedures are followed correctly
· Take payments for social events/ pro shop sales
· Manage member queries and feedback, listening to their needs and professionally and calmly moving towards a resolution.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
