Job Description


Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, responsibilities and essential job functions include:

  • Develop and execute enthusiastic and inspired creative designs that align with project objectives and requirements.
  • Conceptualize multiple design options for review and approval.
  • Organize and prepare artwork for production, ensuring accuracy and readiness.
  • Obtain quotations from approved suppliers, follow up on deliveries, and ensure printing quality meets expectations.
  • Analyze creative briefs, provide strategic design feedback, and offer innovative solutions to meet project goals.
  • Deliver high-quality work within specified timelines and according to design specifications.
  • Design creative elements for both online and offline marketing materials.
  • Create compelling direct marketing creative comps.
  • Research and adhere to brand guidelines to ensure consistency and brand compliance.
  • Prepare and manage pre-flight and production-ready files for printing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide creative insights, design expertise, and innovative ideas.
  • Regularly report to the Director of Marketing & Communications on ongoing visual trends within the hospitality industry.

Additional Information


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in current graphic design practices and web production software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver and Flash), MS Office, Coral Draw, knowledge in Acrobat.
  • Strong technical knowledge of how web-based technologies apply to web design such as HTML, Flash, CSS and AJAX.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of printing processes and specifications for both digital and print mediums.
  • Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet. Familiarity with current design trends and the ability to adapt designs to suit evolving market demands.
  • Good project management skills.
  • To pay strong attention to detail.
  • Being an innovative and strategic thinker.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Degree in Graphic Design and/or proven experience in similar role.
  • Prior experience in Hospitality will offer a definite advantage.
  • Understanding of luxury environment.
  • Great written, spoken and ready proficiency in English. Knowledge in Arabic will be an added advantage
